PROJECT HAUS starts as an insatiable desire to be a part of something grand. It starts with Lady Gaga, her infamous Haus, and a teenage girl struggling to find her purpose.

I was experiencing what one may call a “quarter-life-crisis” when I attended my first Lady Gaga concert in December of 2009. I have always been a concert and music enthusiast, but this Gaga concert completely changed my world. The concert was music, art, theater, spectacle, fame, and so shamelessly pop.

This experience has resounded everyday since - causing the creation of Project Haus and a stream of personal creativity and motivation. It gave me purpose. Over a few months, I discovered that my life and death belongs to pop and concerts. My heart lives in those ephemeral moments where the modern gesamtkunstwerk is made and thousands of kids who feel like nobodies are able to feel utterly free and completely significant.

I aspire to be a pop concert designer and creative director, but more than that, I aspire to be an artist creating a better world. I understand that my ambitions do not exactly lead me on a clear path, but I am truly motivated to weather all hardships in order to promote love and change with the talents I have been blessed with.

Pop music will never be lowbrow.
