“It’s Britney, Bitch.”
Where would I be without this woman? Britney Spears (Living legend) is my earliest memory of true pop obsession. “Oops! .. I Did it Again” is still my favorite Britney record, as it reminds me of lip gloss, latex red-orange jumpsuits, and of the 3rd grade. Although I’ve always been a rather quiet and studious kid, I inexplicably dressed up as Britney Spears on 3rd grade career day. I guess I had things a little messed up, as I’ve never wanted to be any of the performers I so ardently admire… but I’ve definitely always wanted to be a part of the show. Over the years, Britney has grown up and I suppose I have too… learning that a love of pop music is nothing to be ashamed of. Pop music is indeed a spectacle… but it is a spectacle with the potential to change the world.

“PRM 4: Morwen” (about)
A few months ago, my friend Emily asked me to draw her a tattoo in honor of her two sisters.
This was my first experience in drawing a tattoo/being in a tattoo parlor/having my work on anyone’s skin permanently! It was an unusual experience for sure, but I am completely excited about being “published”!
